They got in two new types of yarn today in our store which looked quite nice. The first is Woolette which is 48% acrylic, 46% wool, and 6% polyester. It is nice and nubbly and comes in a lot of colors. It is rated at 6 (super bulky) and the balls are rather small at only 48 yards.
The second is Colortone which is 62% acrylic, 32% wool, and 6% polyester. It comes in a lot of colors and each is a mixed color which gives it a nice depth. It is rated at 6 (super bulky) and comes in a decent size 98 yard ball. I like this one better than Woolette, but I suspect that one may appeal to me more once I see it is worked into a piece. I am hoping for a sale soon so I can try them since $7.99 is a bit pricey for the sizes, even with a 40 or 50% off coupon.
