This one uses peach and yellow crochet thread in a halter style dress. The skirt has stripes and ends with a scallop and there is a yellow crochet rose at the neck. I used several different types of stitches to make the pattern more interesting. It closes in the back with two snaps.
I made a glass bead bracelet on stretch cord and a peach ribbon rose fascinator for accessories.
I like the variety of stitches. It makes the dress look more interesting than one made with a single stitch. Another great creation!

Thanks! I need to try and do some different skirts and not all so fitted. Also need to do more working vertical instead of horizontal for more variety.

I’ve done vertical work, and you can get some neat textures with it by using front and back loops. You can also make fun pinstripes if you work in a row of contrast color. I’m sure you’ll make something lovely.

I hate changing colors to make stripes, especially with thread as it is harder to hide the joins. I have one I just finished with zig zag stripes in turquoise and white that I need to photograph.

I can’t wait to see it! I know the joins can be wonky, especially with thread. It always seems to highlight any flaws.

I will make a point of getting that one photographed today.
