I recently found a huge stash of crochet thread at a local thrift store and was inspired to create some Barbie clothing using it. I didn’t use any patterns, just made it up as I went along using various stitches including crazy shell and crossed double crochet. First up is this top and skirt outfit in orange and white done mostly in crazy shell with some crossed stitch in the shoulder straps for a bit more detail. I even made a little necklace and matching wide brim floppy hat. Enjoy!

Lovely work! I like the colors and your design. The necklace is a great touch. Did you braid it or crochet it with beads?

It is crochet with beads. I will be posting the second one shortly now that I am home from work.
